Another forum I frequent is in risk of shutting down due to action taken against them by our local newspaper.

Could SA Footy be at risk in the near future, if it wasnt already?

Someone with some experience of legal experiences on this website should get on to them.
With the changing media environment and the developing use of forums by media sources, we could see many more issues like this evolving as the organisations try to corner the market for them and their advertisers.
As one gets knocked off, another may replace it, but the focus will turn to more successful forums no doubt.

I feel it is up to oneself to moderate what they are going to post. I have had a few posts removed and a couple of warnings on this site on what I have posted. I am more dilligent and careful on what I write. In this P.C world where the miniority rule the world and just because you disagree with me means you need to sue me society we have to be more careful.

Pardon my ignorance but who is Tom Zed? Is his real name that long it's had to be shortened to fit the page?
Never seen an article written by him in 40 years of reading Murdochs literary garbage so he certainly isn't a household name like Maggi Noodles or Mr Sheen. ;)

He used to work for the Murray Pioneer. Chuck Norris may have some more info on him.

Tom Zed is a top bloke and loves his soccer.
He has upset the football people, about two years ago, with an article regarding crowd issues at Hindmarsh, I think it was a Victory game.
They don't like the way he painted the 'violence'.

The forum now locks out users who aren't registered, so the link no longer helps. Any updates would be interesting however, HBT!

And I just went through the hassle of registering, and I can't read it anyway.
