Interesting stuff. makes you wonder what happened to Bryant's estate, whether there was any property involved and what has happened to this land/property since.

The Tasmanian Govt passed RETROSPECTIVE legislation to seize all his assets, because he was the beneficiary of part-ownership of Tattersalls. Hence, all his money and property was seized by the govt.

It might make moral sense, but IMHO it was a terrible 'big P' Political response to an even more terrible event. It's the equivalent of the current State Govt legislating penalties for offences, and then when the person is sentenced and given a non-parole period, the govt moves the goal posts and says "no, you're not getting parole, we think we can get political points by effectively extending your sentence ourselves."

So a big conspiracy just to introduce harsher gun laws?

Hmmm, perhaps there are some people who actually believe we'll put down our beers and TV remotes for idealogical causes

Unfortunately you have to pay for the source articles Quichey. Surprising that Wikileaks is running with conspiracy theories rather than "raw intel".

They run articles as well as provide raw intel.

Without the raw intel, but even noting that some assertions have been accorded footnotes, it does appear that the author has drawn some long bows.....unfortunately the Wikileaks article is so condensed it's hard to make any other assessment (particularly without the access to the source material and then the sources it is relying on to draw various conclusions).

That is heavy.

Probably the most damning evidence is the left handed VS right handed part.

Do I believe it... NO.

There is no way a 35 dead massacre on a small civilised island could be covered up for 15 years without anyone speaking about it.

But still makes you think.

Did anyone land on the moon?
Why has it never been done again?
Imagine the footage now.

Was Sept. 11 an inside job to start a war for oil?
No morally humane person/s could let 5000 people die without blabbing.

Was it really a push out in the goal square to deny Marion the winning goal VS Christies Beach Sat. 31 July 2010 late in the last quarter?
Or was it a pack moving forward?

(insert x-files music here)

The truth is out there...

The Rann government has interferred with the parole process here in SA for political gain. Rann has said von Einem will never be released even though he is eligible for parole.

There isn't a pollie alive crazy brave/dumb enough to let him out.

Similar thing up here in NSW with Anita Cobby's murderers.

Circus every time serial paedophile Dennis Ferguson is released.

Lost count the number of times he's been run out of town.

And put back inside for his own safety...

For people with Foxtel, in there Free On Demand is a show called Conspiracy theories with Jessie Ventura.

It focuses on 9/11. Once you get over the fact Jessie Ventura is an absolute dick and he continually uses a bloke called Michael Ballone who looks and sounds as dodgy as they come he actually brings us some very interesting facts which i havent seen answered anywhere.

Stuff includes

-interview with high ranking bomb expert who collected dust from ground zero and claims bomb resedue was found there.
-the black boxes never been found (first time in history according to National American Air Crash Investigator) despite rescue teams finding minescure bone fragments.
-Also the whole of Trade Centre number 7 going down seem very dodgy.

There were a few others i cant think of off the top of my head.

I dont generally believe in this type stuff but if these people who are supposedly high ranking people amongst American agencies are telling the truth there are alot of unanswered questions.

Worth a look anyone even just for a laugh at Jessie Ventura.

So what are they getting at?? They reckon those planes didn't actually crash into the trade centre?? I'm confused :?

Bum Crack, that's the thing with these conspiracy theories

They put a talking head of the screen and then say he is an expert on something. Then he raises some point that most of us don't really understand the full implications of so we have to take his version of events. He is an expert so why not believe him?

He (or she or course) then plants a seed in our minds that this point he is raising is crucial and "raises important questions". We then revert to our baseline thinking that Governments can't be trusted and voila we have a conspiracy theory.

So at Port Arthur John Howard arranged for 35 Australians to be murdered just so he could get his gun laws up?

Or George Bush arranged for 2000 people to be killed just so we could go to war with Iraq?

Are there easier ways to achieve these things than Government sponsored murder?

Have to be pretty gullible to believe that then. I guess there are people out there who may believe it though.

I'd be interested in seeing this, however I don't have Foxtel.

If anyone can record it to DVD, I'd love you to mail it to me so I can watch it.

PM me if you can help.

I have seen a whole 1 hour documentary just on world trade center number 7 and how it's collapse seems suspicious. Suspicous of what? The planes didn't hit the twin towers? They did hit but the US Govt thought that wouldn't have enough of an impact so they blew up world trade center 7? At the same time? The Govt flew the planes AND blew up surrounding buildings?

Come on

I generally dont agree with conspiracy theories but in many cases they do bring up questions they dont or wont normally get answered, especially through main stream media.

That is there one positive imho i think you are gullible if you belive everything you read and hear in the mainstream media via t.v radio or print.

I loved the docu on SBS last week "The War You Dont See"
