just want to know what drinks people hate

Sour milk.

sake.

Cider. Drank it in my early days and got horribly drunk and hungover. 30 years later I still cannot go near the stuff.

I can never drink scotch again after sculling a schooner of it straight when i was 17.
Also drank a bottle of honey mead in 20 mins when i was younger, and the smell still haunts me.
I WON'T drink port, simply because of the name

That's why, in my house when we want to consume such beverage, we call it 'a glass of Sturt'. At my mates house, it's 'a glass of South' or 'a glass of Norwood' and so on and so forth.

Anything with Malibu in it is absolute poison as far as I'm concerned. Wedgie's to blame for that I might add.

Funny story, about 1992 ish Wedgie met us at a pub and bought us a fluffy duck each. We never treated him the same again (ie, we started kicking and spitting on him from there on)

A fella I worked with a few years ago did a country tour through Lincoln way and one night went to the Grand Tasman and asked for a Fluffy Duck ... I think he got out alive, just.

before i tell you this ill start off by saying i always drink spirits...such as Jameson...and sometimes Ouzo when i feel like totally writing myself...but...

have you tried the Electric Pink Cruisers? They taste pretty nice...start a night off sculling four of them...then on to the spirits...

yes i have every now and then and i regret it afterwards I feel sick afterwards too sweet for me.

At Crow homes it's still a Chardonnay.

(Yes I know very rich coming from a Norwood supporter )

Sorry Hun with or without mixers I can't stand them...can't eat anything cooked in them either...it's the aniseed cos I don't like aniseed flavoured sweets either.

Fair enough. The funny thing is that a nice cold glass of ouzo & diet coke really settles
my tummy. Especially as a 'hair of the dog' after a silly night out. Very invigorating.
Oh well, that adds a new twist to an old saying..."One man's plonk is another woman's poison" eh ?
