I hate NYE; it brings out all the DHes.
If I went out, I'd only be one more DH.
So I'm staying in with a bottle of single malt.

I get pie eyed once a week at my club.
I don't need a reason to do so.
With 3 youngins, staying up past midnight it a miracle, not choice!

Going to the Gaslight for a meal and see 2 local (1 x original, 1 x cover) bands play 2 sets each, good cheap night and the publican has catered for underage patrons after mid night with a seperate lounge room they can go to.

First time ever I'll be staying home. Had a shocking run with our 7 month old little boy - coughing and not sleeping. So we'll be taking the opportunity for a very quiet night at home tonight.
I think I'll be couped up in bed by 9pm!
Ahh to be 'old'.

Heading around to the oldies place for a bit of a show. 30 odd going, will have a few but not too many, because I'm going fishing New Years Day.

I'll be home working & visiting safooty.net.
Staying up past midnight to see the new year in-
Whilst in-between holding my breath and bitting my nails-
That my 19 year old son and 17 year old daughter get through the night safely
