Posted: Thu Dec 03, 2009 12:25 amI started to feel old on Monday night, been doing some casual work for extra $$ recently and got asked to move 25kg bags for 7 hours. Supposed to be a two man job but I did it on my own that day.
What really pissed me off tho was when they sent out a bloke on the Friday who'd be at least 20 years younger than me and he couldn't handle it, didn't even bother showing up on Monday or telling anyone so we could replace him.
Perhaps it isn't the pain in my back and in my fingers that makes me feel old but wanting to curse the younger generation for being slackers

The actors in Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Maverick,Mannix,Lost In Space, Rockford Files etc were all older actors when I first watched these shows in then 60s
Now when I see them they look young or younger
I used to think Kitty[saloon owner] in Gunsmoke was an old bag in the 60s, not now
Little Joe[Michael Landon , Bonanza] is a classsic, he looked like a man when I watched him in the 60s, now he looks like a teenage kid
Even Dr Smith looks younger .....
