I cooked Spag bog last night too!

Mince, small portions at a time into frying pan. Small portions so the heat stays in the pan, brown the mince well, take mince out. Cook onion and garlic quickly in hot pan, add mince back in,add 3 chopped tomatoes, herbs to taste, pepper and not much salt. Add jar of goodness and let simmer for at least 30 minutes.Pasta boiled, done.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

I'm cooking spag bol tonight

Pan,
I'm wayyyy too busy to do it Booney's way

Throw the mince in till it's all cooked, add 2 jars (Two different flavours, ie one with garlic, one with red wine etc) of Pasta Sauce in, stir, done.

:D

We always have fresh bakery bread with 'real' butter to accompany it :D
You get what you give....

Simple answer ... did it taste alright?

If yes, then keep doing it, if not, then change. ;)

FWIW, I use a pan because it will more likely stick to a pot.

Put a dollop of margarine in the pot, smear it around the inner perimeter before putting the mince in and it wont stick, drain the juice out once the mince is browned as 90% of this is fat.

Pan. Olive Oil, garlic, onions. Sauté til transparent. Add mince. Brown off. Add jar of sauce, along with a tablespoon of Tomato concentrate, plus a few drops of Tabasco.

Cook pasta in salted water, drain when al dente, return to pot. Pour Bolognaise over pasta in Pot, toss, then serve.
The joy of being on the hill drinking beer cannot be understated

I selected "other" only because I've never cooked apart from the odd BBQ, which was just chuck 'em on and turn 'em.
I'm going to have to learn now, though, as there aren't enough volunteers to cook for me all the time.
I'm starting to need a change from frozen prepared dinners, more often, too. So, I'll read threads like this and pick up tips..

I always use a pot these days. Only because it saves splattering over the stove plus my favourite receipe actually cooks in the oven.
