New Free Travel Forum

Postby bomber1976 » Fri Sep 04, 2009 11:23 am

Just for a bit of fun, i have created my own free travel forum, so if you have anything you want to share in regards to your travels, ie - hotels, flights, airports, cheap travel deals, road trips, backpacking trips, sports tours, etc, share them here. The site is very much in its infancy, so im just trying to get users and also people to start posting information.....

I will be setting up a website down the track, but in the meantime just have a forum for discussions

its all free, so join up and share your travels....

Have you thought about a picture gallery for people to load up their happy snaps?

You could have "picture of the week" on your home page, for example. I think community webshots do something similar.

Also, I saw a book in Borders the other day which was an international sporting calendar of all major events. Now that would be a handy resource to have on line and could be a big attraction to getting punters on board and doing deals with the likes of the Fanatics for example (eg mutual links).

Good luck!

I had a glance at your forum.

It appears to be arranged wholly by destination. It would be good (and more useful to myself) if there were some general fora. Stuff like airline/air travel tips, passport issues, packing issues, etc. Sure, I could ask questions about any of these under any of the various destinations, but the answers are not necessarily specific to any destination, and asking them under a particular destination might limit the number of people who actually read it.

Just my $.02

Cheers 'bomber1976',
I've just registered, added the site to my favourites and look forward to checking
out the forum from time to time. Looks good and has great informative potential.
Well done !
Not being a member of the 'international jet set', my interests centre mainly on travel
within OZ. So any items relating to Motorhomes, Caravans, Camping, 4WD, Cars,
Motorcycles, Paid and Free Camping, National Parks etc., will be studied in detail and
enjoyed. There are a lot of people out there who want to make the most of their
travel time and retirement dollars, so any and all such info for immediate and future
plans is absolute GOLD !
I hope you and your contributors find space for this segment of the travel arena.
Best of luck,
SABRE
