The difference is that strongbow etc use concentrated pear and apple juice whereas the Montheiths uses fresh crushed apple. It should go nuts in summer esp at the $14.99 a 6pk range. The three oaks is also good, its actually produced at Serafino winery at McLaren Vale and comes in cans aswell! But If you come across it, give the Monteiths a go.

And the fact that they have it on tap makes it even better.

While living in London, I seriously though about the potential of exporting ciders to Australia. However, is it socially acceptable for blokes to drink cider?
IMO it is, because it tasted so bloody good and is the best option for when you want to mix it up a little from drinking beer. It's a better option to getting on the spirits and also a great choice if you're not too partial to wines.
Cider is the way forward IMO!
