For me it's my lawnmower.
Try starting it for a quick mow and it will always let you down.
Come back in 2 hours and it will generally start.
Bloody thing.

LOL, when I saw the title I thought it was going to be about an Advanced Medical Institute ad ...
Don't know whether mine works these days because it never gets used

My combustion heater - sometimes burns beautifully - sometimes struggles to burn anything.
[I think I need more light stuff on hand to get enough heat into it to get the Red Gum going in the mornings.]

I went out and bought some pine offcuts as starting material - much better now!
The Red Gum burns well and lasts well, once you get the heat up to start with.
[I'd had Hydronic heating on Natural Gas in Victoria, since 1999, so my technique was a bit rusty.]

I have a pile of timber that is great for kindling - about two trailer loads I imagine. Now we have ducted gas heating the combustion heater doesn't get used. Anyone that wants the kindling is welcome to it.
On topic... Mobile phone - turns itself off at random times.

have a tool called an "F set' that i use for work and that is most un reliable. this tool puts a tone down a telephone line when trying to trace telephone cables and lines and if its a long distance from the frame to the socket your trying to trace it can be a very frustrating exercise walking back and forwards.

we have a light in the entrance area that's played up ever since it was put in. STILL doesn't work consistently despite two electricians "fixing" it. Damn thing either flickers or just doesn't work till you 'flick' it with your finger. Dodgy element I'm assuming.

also worked in a restuarant ( plates and platters before it burnt down on payneham road ) and the clock in the kitchen would always stop at 9:46, every morn and every night, was frustrating having to fix it everyday
