To buy booze on Good Friday?

Work kept me from the bottlo last night and am almost out of booze. Anyone know of anything that's open? I used to get stuff at the airport years ago, is that still an option?

Come down here and I'll sell you a six pack for $20

But seriously - I would have suggested the airport servo. Would be an idea to call 'em first; the one time I ever tried to buy grog from there, it wasn't for sale. Seems even that place has its time restrictions.

Presumably restaurants with a grog license can still sell it.

Its not the fact that we cant, as much as we shouldn't have to, Pubs should be able to open if they want to.

I'd shut all pubs and clubs at 9pm, and allow them till 11pm on Friday and Saturday nights.
Then I'd police the laws about public drunkenness, if they still exist, and if they don't bring them back.

Mate it's Good Friday and Adelaide is asleep. There ain't nothin' to do, you might as well kick back and blow the froth off a couple.

I'm no wowser I just dont drink .So for me its lost on me the arguement why aren't Pubs open .But if pubs were open then perhaps we could have had a footy game yesterday or last night.
Of course if Pubs were open and footy was being played channel 7 news would want the shops open (sorry they always whinge on boxing day).

Just stirring guys not being serious with this post .just waiting to go to the footy.and Good Friday night I went to a nice little noisy party were lots of booze was drunk (not by me ;) )
Cheers

Well, we'd need more police for a start, and there would be those staffing the drunk tanks... ;)
There would possibly be more cafe's and restaurants once it was safe to go to the city with your wife/girlfriend again.
That may revitalise other entertainment options that would attract a different set once the yobs no longer own the streets of the CBD.
