Just wondering if anyone can give me the heads up on where the best Chinese Take-Away is in S.A? We tried one at Ingle Farm on the weekend which was supposed to be good but I thought that the meals were fairly average! Any suggestions? :D

There's one in Salisbury I go to. It's opposite the cinema's parking lot. Their take-away is alright, but eating in is bloody fantastic. Heaps a food at good price!

I used to go to one one Fletcher Rd Largs Bay, that used to be pretty good, Silver Swan perhaps. The one on the corner of Addison Rd at Pennington used to be pretty good aswell, they'd knock 10% off of the price if you picked it up.

House of the Red Dragon at Munno Para shopping centre used to be fantastic, I've been let down the last couple of times though, their Special Fried Rice is still superb, big pieces of pork and beef, well, that's what it looks like anyway.

Holy carp!
Does it still have red walls inside?
The paint on those walls had more lead in it than a kids toy made in china
I might have to pop in there next time im over

I hope you're talking about the CHinese next to the German Arms. Fantastic Feed, has been in the same family for 35 years. I think like most Chinese restaurants though the decor hasn't changed in 20 years!

There's a couple in Hahndorf. The best one of those IMO is Gourmet House.

mmmmmm - MSG and cooked cat.

strong rumour about the health inspectors finding a dead cat in that restaurant.

most chinese restaurants cook with MSG which is the problem, give me thai or viatemese any day of the week - awesome!

good chinese food at that one, and very reasonably priced

House of Chow in Hutt St, a bit more pricey but the food is great
