I've been buying a card for Mrs Pseudo every year, because I know the repercussions will be mighty if I don't...

To add irony to the situation, last year Mrs Pseudo actually forgot it was Valentine's Day

This year I've ordered some roses to be delivered in the morning. Hopefully this accrues enough leave points for me to bugger off to a bucks show in a couple of week's time!

Valentines "marketing and spending day"!

what a crock of shit this american tradition is. let's be romantic when the shops tell us too!

the amount they charge for flowers, restaurants on this day is ridiculous. I like Xmas and Easter, but this is pushing it!

Valentines day sort of went out the window for us 19 years ago when our first child arrived !!
Then it just became about a boy and his birthday :D

Although, my husband did give me chocolates last year O:)
So maybe it's returning again

I bought her a perfume called "Daisy" by Mark Jacobs.

$80 bucks for 50mL, $110 for 100mL.

What a rip off!
