What's your time span on that ? For example an Italian immigrant that came out after WW2 had an argument with his wife, and in a rage stabs her.
So we ship him back to the "motherland" after living in Australia for 50 years. A Vietnamese refugee that came out during the Vietnam war does the same, ship them back home too ? That an interesting debate all in it's own....
It's a sad thing that had happened, and one that is not needed in our society no matter what race or where you come from...

I feel that this may be the best way to actually stop others from doing the same thing by sending them a clear message that violence will not be tolerated. However when you consider the slap on the wrist approach that happens to people in general in Adelaide that commit crime, its probably unlikely to happen until we make changes to the system here for everyone else.
