I once heard about a creature called the "parasitic dick fish". It's sole purpose in life is to apparently swim up an animal's penis and set up house in its bladder. It also had lots of fins that are streamlined close to its body before the trip up the golden fountain, but then spring out in a fan shape once it gets inside the plumbing. The fins have sharp tips so it is almost impossible to get out once inside. It was said to have been attracted by urine and is so tiny that it is very hard to see. "Be careful taking a leak while swimming in a tropical river!" I was told by the drunken university student who related the story.

That sounds like the critter!
Gee my memory was not too far out, it has been a long time since I heard that story.
I am just wondering if maybe the guy that told me the story was the same bloke who made the Wiki entry? Bloody nasty piece of work if true.
