I traverse this stretch, between South and Port Road on GJR almost daily, she is indeed a standout from the pack, visually, but the dirty truckies that have just driven from Brisbane who befriend her are no different to the dirty truckies that befriend the less, how do it put it, tradable commodities.

There was supposed to be a tidy one that worked GJR and all the way down to Semaphore Park not too long ago

Hmmm, I wonder if it's the same specie that has been spotted around the Regency/ Churchill Road area? I've seen this smoking hot one there a few times but not recently, perhaps she migrates during the colder months.

It's abit of a piss take but it's FC United of Manchester

There a spin off club off supporters of Manchester United who were disenchanted with the way the Glaziers were running Man U and how fans were virtually having zero say in a club

The club is run on a one vote per member basis and is democratically run by its supporters and currently has 4000 members so I have a 1/4000 share lol

It's all done over the net, once you become a member u get members only access to a co owners area all voting is done via polls in regards to every single aspect of the club, including strip design, player purchases etc etc.

The club has recently had back to back promotions and has just completed building its new 4400 seat stadium

It's a pretty interesting concept, worth a Wikipedia journey.

A group of five of us bought memberships at the start of the season while on the piss one night. All abit of fun for 12 pounds really but we are starting to take our roles abit more serious now and got involved with helping write policies, ethos etc etc

Two weeks ago there was a live stream on the night of their game

We all dressed up in our best suits and dark shades as all good football club owners should and watched the match in our own 'vip' lounge suit while smashing Heinikens

Was a good night plus we got a victory as well

The club takes new co owners at any stage so should get a bunch of safooty guys on board lol

Get amongst it mate, imagine if they drew a 'big' club in a cup tie would make a classic night in the city.

We may have the first 'FC United' overseas supporter group lol

If nothing else it offers a very interesting insight to the world pro sports ownership

I couldn't believe as a sixth tier club we are spending 105k pounds on player wages a month!!
