I've always had other priorities, so I've just survived on an old CRT and the last 12 months a 2nd hand 40 incher LCD.

SAFooty on a 60" screen would be great

When I was playing around with the features the other night, SA Footy may or may not have made an appearance. :D
I can't believe how small the TV's look in the shop, it looks twice the size in my lounge room.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Using it now. Some adjustments that's for sure. Control centre is great (about time).

Looking at a review online, it looks as though apple have adopted a lot of android features. Which is a good thing for Apple users.

The control centre is the obvious one. So much easier in Android to access what you need to quickly. About time Apple implemented something similar.

Besides that it's copied more aesthetically from Windows Phones than Android.

I expect I'll find interesting, and therefore rateable, an up-coming new experience.
I'm shortly to meet for coffee with an old friend I haven't seen since 1997...

The twist is he was a good bloke then, but has, in the meantime, had a full conversion and is now a woman.
I hadn't seen that coming during the past acquaintanceship.

At least you'll have something to talk about.

Not that lawyer dude/dudette that was in the papers a couple of months ago?

No, this one is an Adelaide medical specialist.
I think she appeared on an SBS TV discussion programme on the subject soon after the lawyer case hit the headlines.
I just hope I remember to address her by the feminine version of the Christian name I was used to using when we saw each other fairly often in the 1990s...

Did his/her own chop and changing then?
In all seriousness I have done a bit of study on that through my academic studies recently and how former friends etc perceive these changes is often better than most would think, it's the family that often represents barriers/issues.

Subtly perhaps...
First we caught up about what we had both been doing in terms of career and life in the 10 years or so since we last met.
A few gentle questions then arose about what has happened since my wife's death and whether I was living alone still.
Then came an enquiry about what my "orientation" was.
I just grinned and said, "Strictly Hetero."
Then we talked about travel.
