Made my way out last night to Grand North,doing my bit to help the salary cap at Prospect.(Sorry Wedgie )

The kids had a run around on the oval,I had several schooners and a nice meal,the service was good,and got about 40 odd bucks out of the pokies,all in all,a pretty good way to spend a Sunday 'arvo.

By the crowd there,and the way the pokie room was filled,the Cocks should have no problems with the folding stuff in the future.$$$

Im pretty stoked with the way the Grand North is going, originally I was hoping it would just come out even with the real $$$ being made at the Northern, the fact that the Grand North is an extremely profitable setup on its own is very encouraging.

Umm, its not North's footy club, our club is at Prospect, its merely an establishment to earn funds.
Do you want them to take down half of the stuff from the Legends Room and put it in the Grand North so the Greenacres Footy Club can spill beer on it?
Part of the building is still the Greenacres Football Club, I think its a bit more appropriate that Greenacres gear is there (and it is when I was there on AFL GF day).

Considering Greenacres are Getting a fair bit of the Proffits ! Dont think they could really
complain hey ! Just sort of to let people sort of no, the place has got something to do with NORTH !

Yeah lets put all our memorabilia on Grand Junction Rd to alienate the Greenacres lads, to alienate the pokies players who don't like footy but don't mind putting $$$ through our machines and to alienate the North fans at the heart of the club, ie Prospect Oval. That would have the combined impact of lowering membership, upsetting our partnership with Greenacres and depleting funds. Yeah great post.

I honestly don't know why I bother explaining things to you at times.
Look mate, if you have any things that you can't work out instead of just assuming that the first thought in the first second that comes to your head is right, just ring the club and they'll explain it to you. They'll probably be able to explain things better than I can and I have no doubt they'd have a lot more patience than I have.

I've presented to you the exact reasons why something occurs and instead of sitting there and thinking "Hmmm, they are good points, I now see why the club is going about their business in that certain manner now and lets face it the club must have some smarter people in charge of operations than myself as they're doing so well" your only response is "I can't have an opinion"?

Seriously mate, ring the club with your queries or talk to someone about them before making statements that have no thought to them and if you think the club and/or I are wrong about the way we think things through, feel free to run for the board.

Crikey mate, if you think me explaining a couple of facts to you is shitbagging you have no idea and its no trouble either. (and you haven't seen me when I'm "shit bagging" someone, I'm sure a few on here have though! )
No I'm not in a bad mood. If anyone makes a post that has no relevence to the facts involved I'll explain it to them, I'm like that all the time as I'm helpful and its definately not unique in my replies to you tonight.
I'm not the No 1 supporter of the club and you're not the No 2 supporter of the club, there's hundreds of North fans that are all equal in their love for the club. Mr Gerard is the number 1 ticket holder at North and I have no doubt he has more claim to the title of Number 1 or Number 2 fan than either of us as would many others especially the many volunteers of the club including those that have won the prestigious Volunteer of the Year award, I did come runner up one year though.

Yeah there is, in the soon to opened (I think) Sports Bar out the back.
