I was born into a butchers family in the Riverland. Fritz is a staple, slightly above bread and water.

Loved watching it get made, the smell in the butcher shop when getting boiled, and ripping into a bung for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Searched Adelaide far and wide for Fritz that came close. Goodwood, although a good butcher, had supermarket type fritz. The butcher that came close was located in Gilbert St IGA building when I lived in Adelaide, he has since moved.

Booleroo Centre butcher makes the best freakin' fritz known to man.

My inlaws have a butcher shop in the country, I know good fritz and how hard it is to find it.
The best bung fritz I've come across is at Brian's - Jetty Rd, Glenelg

The Tap King ad on tv with Lionel Richie. Every time I see it I want a beer, and "Hello" is one of those songs that I'm not ashamed to say I absolutely love

Bad idea lads, here's why. Novelty value, granted. Beer value, not at all.

Carton of Boags - 375ml*24 = 9.0l.

$45 carton (45/9) = $5 per l.

Tap King Dispenser = $32

Tap King James Boags = $25 for 3.2l

So your first set up = 32+25 (57) / 3.2 = $17.81 per l.

From there you are $25 for 3.2l = $7.80 per l. At that rate a carton would be $70.20.

The under 10 SFL carnival yesterday at Lonsdale after being called off last year, was a fantastic day, made even better with Flaggies winning all 7 games to take the title, very proud coach and one very tired son who has taken the day off school!

absolutely!!

brew your own beer, the basic costs work out to something ridiculous like 15c a bottle. - I don't have a keg as yet, if I did I would be permanently drunk

the Heineken Kegs are better value but I wouldn't pay anymore than $30 for them and only as a novelty once a year.

if you have a spare sodastream laying around you can use that also!!

Totally agree Booney, whilst I dont coach I help where possible and I love it. Pity more parents dont help out and get involved. One of teams we are lucky if we get half the parents even turn up to the games to watch their kids play let alone help out.

Well done Dutchy, our club holds the junior carnival in a couple of weeks time. Last years was a huge sucsess.

Thanks Gents, Im shot, 2 very close games in the quarter and semi finals was bad enough for my nerves, thankfully the GF was a 6 goal win so it was very enjoyable. Don't know how real coaches don't have heart attacks!

Agree, love being involved, what Ive found is most parents are happy to help but want to be asked, not many actually put their hand up before being asked.

I'll be front and centre once my two are old enough to be involved. Apart from being the parent I couldn't think of anything more rewarding.
