I'm going for a drive down Fleurieu way today, and might even enjoy a bit of whale watching if I'm lucky.

I got to try some chilli sauce today, and it contained the world's 2nd hottest chilli. The Trinidad Scorpion Chilli Butch T contains 1 463 700 Scoville Units of heat. I took it like a champ, no sweat.

I tried some Matso chilli beer last night. You wouldn't wanna chuck after a dozen of those.

It's from Broome, but you can buy it at these places. http://www.matsos.com.au/stockists/

I tried the mango beer, to cool down after the chilli. Pretty good.

I love my chilli, don't get me wrong. But why the hell anyone would want it in beer (or chocolate for that matter) is beyond me.

It's different, just like the pumpkin spiced beer I had yesterday. I like trying different things sometimes.

Some "traditional" beer tastes like crap. Some new beers taste like crap.

At a recent beer festival, this was my fave. http://www.pricklymoses.com.au/component/hikashop/product/show/product_id-8?Itemid=0
