this is of the big one. to put it in perspective it has 1400tonne of counter weight on the back and can lift 3000 tonne at 35ft.

How do you move a crane? or do they come unassembled? and then you assemble them and then pull them apart again when you don't need them anymore?

that would be unassembled then reassemble at site. There are some big trucks that move stuff during the night, biggest i've seen is 2 pulling from the front and 2 pushing from the rear.

what makes it more impressive is Liebherr head office is here in Adelaide across from parafield airport. If your ever out that way have a look they usually have some big equipment in the yard.
