Expecting 70 plus cases tomorrow to be confirmed in Victoria.

If true I would expect us to close the border ASAP.

BREAKING: THREE South Australians have been confirmed as having sat within two rows of infected person at MCG. 1 of them is still in Victoria. The 2 back in SA are undergoing urgent re-testing.

464 other South Australians were in the Tier 2 zone of concern and are required to isolate.

If they were to report 70 cases at once and sat on that information for 24 hours that would be a disgrace. When SA had the Parafield scenario last year there was an update going on every 2-3 hours after the initial spike.

Not surprising given the increased number of tests being conducted.

It could be said that table demonstrates that if you socially isolate, have the flu jab (increased compliance last year compared to previous years) and practise good infection control standard precautions the burden of disease is reduced. Imagine how bad it could’ve been if we weren’t doing those things based on the experience of the Americas and Europe?
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
