My 3rd daughter decided to see the world at 27 weeks and 1137 grams ... not much fun at the time I can tell you, although she's now 8 and absolutely no side effects at all.
Good luck with it, if you can hold out to about 33 weeks that would be ideal. If not, the care these days for prems is fantastic, so either way, I'm sure you'll be fine.
Yeah hoping they can hold out another 4-5 weeks. The only problem was there was no nea-natal beds in SA so we were
nearly off to Tassie, i would have been ropable if that had to be the case

. Bloody insurance premiums the Govt isn't prepared to pay for the other hospitals besides W&C and FMC to have the ability to deliver babies under 34 weeks.
Thats absolute madness !!! They would send you off to Tassie because of lack of beds here ? That is beyond belief mate, this state has lost the plot...
This stems back to the closing of the QEH maternity section, sneakily i might add. My first child was born there, 7 years ago - staff were fantastic, and the care was excellent. What a waste it is now !
Hope everything goes well mate, and you dont end up in the Apple Isle !!!
