Is he going to be topless and serve beer? :-?

he may have manboobs

Not him - he's been going running every day and looks a bit of all right! ;) He said that he would be more likely to participate in a re-enactment of the topless volleyball scene from Top Gun than serve beer topless, which was not quite a flat-out 'no'.

Got the 14th marked down in my diary. Now to find a babysitter!

you're planning on getting messy enough to need a babysitter Fisho?

Yeah - my abstinence from alcohol didn't last very long. :? (Hell, I only get smashed about once every six weeks, and I don't hurt anyone when I do it.) Either that or Steady can stay home and look after the kids.

probably not love. i pretty much go into a 'working lockdown' from about now right up until the AFL GF, in an effort to save monies for the GF weekend. this includes my birthday on Sep 4th, which last year fell on a Sunday, which also meant it was Fathers Day. how did i celebrate this day? Tiled for 11 hours.

yessssssss. it does seem that way at this minute. but on the monday on my way back to the melbourne airport, minus an iPhone, several thousand dollars, a fair bit of dignity and self-respect combined with broken dreams of watching my pies win a flag from the great southern stand, weather it's all worth it becomes questionable.

Just weigh it up against all the other big weekends you've had! I'm pretty sure there was one time we played Flaggies and you woke up in their changerooms the next day, wearing a Flagstaff Hill jumper, chained to the urinal.

that is pretty close to what actually happened. but i wasnt in the changerooms, i was just on the interchange bench. that was one cold/rough night. being inside and chained to a urinal would have been a blessing that night.

I intend to turn up for a drink or two with the group at the clubhouse at 6pm, after the golf is over.
I'm not sure whether I'll be able to stay to eat, so I'll play that by ear on the night.

Kitchen is run by Adelaide shores and closes at 3.30, unless there is a catered function.
What would be more beneficial to us, and cost a crapload less would be for me to either get the BBQ out and cook up some grub or pet some finger food in the pie warmer or oven.
Lets not get too carried away here.

Wine list is not extensive, but have a nice choice IMO. We are sponsored by Hardys, so it is nearly all wines from Accolade portfolio.

Lets be honest. If you are anything like me, a person who loves to watch the footy, with a couple of frothies, no kids screaming in my ear (especially my own) & have a bit of a laugh, then by all means come along.
If you are expecting the bloody Ritz. Stay home. Westward Ho may be a golf club, but Kooyonga, Grange, Glenelg or Riverside it aint.

Finally I need to finalise tee times, so please PM me if you are playing golf before hand.

Regards, Moe ;)
