cut the damaged area out, get some gyprock
go to a site and you will find an off cut big enough.
and then cut to the same size you have cut out. then just need to flush the new square over and give it a lick of paint
its harder to descibe then to show someone

rubbish- put a poster over the hole ;)

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Ahh, this is one for the lads, (and ladies if they really have an opinion)...

Meet up with a chick for the first time (on the piss), like what I see, she likes what she sees, and I am keen to catch up again and see more...

Question is... How long do you wait before calling a chick? Don't want her to forget me and go off searching for other dudes... And don't want to seem to over-the-top...

(I know it isn't blokey, but almost every guy has thought about this)...

I'd make the call about the second [later in the day] or on the third day - thus appearing not over-eager but actively interested. ;)

Yep, what Psyber said.

If you leave it a week, she'll think you're not interested and chances are she might have found someone who IS, but if you ring the next day she'll think you're a stalker. I speak from experience. Women are bloody hard to work out. :)

I met a bloke once when I was in Melbourne and we got along really well. It might even have worked out - there was certainly interest on both sides - but the day after I flew back to Adelaide, he DROVE from Melbourne and turned up at my work with flowers. That is a seriously awesome thing to do at most any other time. However, I was still working out my feelings - I'd just come out of a horror relationship with a rather violent and stupid person - and this was too full-on for me. To be honest, I felt a bit like a rabbit down a dead-end hole with someone poking a stick at it. Whereas if he'd left it a bit longer, my attitude might have been very different.

When you ring her, make sure you are chewing an apple. It makes you sound casual and nonchalant :D

Well, I broke the silence last night, just said VERY CASUALLY that I enjoyed meeting her, and I'd like to catch up with her again, and now we're going out to watch a band play friday night... :D

Am MASSIVELY nervous, but it's a little bit sink or swim I guess... Worst thing she could have said was "no."

So you waited three days or so...

Best of luck for Friday and as for the nervousness - just get totally tanked up before the date and you'll be full of confidence. :D

There will be no pre drink options really... But there is three bonuses here...

1) The band is at a pub, so a few "relaxants" will be easy to find, in the form of Jack Daniels... :D

2) The specific pub is the only pub in the town I haven't made a dick of myself in, and the patrons won't be able to embarrass me with "remember the time you..." stories... \:D/

3) She's relatively new to town, and hasn't heard of me (I have a bit of a "social pissant" reputation) yet, so I have this really awesome chance to make a great impression...

If I let you all know late friday night, then it was probably a massive failure, and it will be another tirade of whiskey-infused posting, but if you hear about it Saturday, then I'm calling a big THUMBS UP!

But time will tell I guess...
