Spending yesterday making a batch of chilli jelly (5 jars) that now won't set properly in the jars despite getting it to 105C and testing for a set

Now to trawl some cooking sites to see if it can be rescued as it's been less than 24hrs since I made it...theory A decant, reboil, retest, repot and pray...theory B decant, reboil with a bit of gellatine, repot and pray.

Yes, I have actually! I mean, he didn't try it on with me, but he was convicted of molesting a teenage girl several years later. When I was in high school there was this lawyer who worked in the building outside my bus stop and he'd always come downstairs and want to talk. He asked me and a couple of other kids to come up to his office but we thought that was a bit odd so we declined. Then about three years later I saw his picture on the front page of the Advertiser, read the accompanying article and realised what a lucky escape my friends and I had had!

(That being said, this bloke didn't sound anything like the Bejeweled Blitz voice. But it's still creepy!)

Myself, I remember opening up the Advertiser one morning (15-20 years ago now) to find a picture of one of my old scout leaders. He was in the paper for the obvious reason. My immediate thought was surprise that it took so bloody long. Back in the day we knew this guy was a bit of a whoopsie. He thought he was Yogi Bear ferchrissakes, and would read stories to the cubs in a Yogi Bear voice...
