Insurance companies, surely if u claim for a stolen item and the same make and model is still being sold, its not that hard to replace it with THE SAME EFFING MAKE AND MODEL... Not a dodgy brand for half the price

Most companies would replace it with the same... The amount of insurance mobs that use my work as a supplier always ask for the exact model if it is available, and if it isn't, they have us do the leg work to find out what the closest equivalent is...

Would say your insurance company has a mob of strokers working for it!

Its mum and dads insurance, their shed got done over a few weeks back... Apparently the Sthil chainsaw and brushcutter that went is equivalent to a Makita chainsaw and brushcutter they want to replace it with.....

I am not a power tool person, but I once bought my father a Makita product, and he quite openly said "thanks but no thanks." ;)
