Maybe security guards working at the Medi hotels and pizza places should wear them.

Our local butcher had sold out of everything by 4.30

Very true. Mind you, shanks have been unavailable in Elizabeth for a few weeks now that John Butcher's moved on.

Shanks @ Specialty Foods are $2.50 each atm, they're quite sizey too.

Get the feeling our lockdown is being driven by Canberra and we are the Guinea Pigs to test a short/sharp/harsh lockdown for the rest of the country.

No, classed as essential shopping.

Wouldn't know it here though, just ran out of West End cartons!

My understanding is that the strain is a "3 day" thing, hence why the 6 day lockdown.

As I'm not an expert on the matter I'll just do as I'm asked, I do wish that the state government learn from this mess, maybe consult the people when it comes to letting in planes full of people, it wasn't long ago that they wanted to start allowing international students in, a week is a long time during a pandemic.

No other states are currently having any issues because they have competent staff at "medi-hotels", no need for them to lock-down.
