Tex Walker making some sort of negative comment about someone to his Mrs (I assume) who then has a slight crack back at him.

Playing a trivia board game * with the kids. I read out this question to them: "What is the name of the head of the Mafia"?

"What's the Mafia?", replies the daughter.

I pause, and think ... "It's a crime organisation which comes from Italy. Italian criminals."

And she promptly screamed, "oh, it's the Pope!"

* - The game is called "Beat the Parents". Aptly named because it is heavily loaded in favour of the children. They won again - we've yet to beat them.

Was quiet in the office yesterday. One bloke in particular was telling me how good Betts was and that he has done the job against all the sides now and will do again.

Now the following actually happened and is not bs.

I asked if he had seen Eddie lately as he and Jenkins must have bee on the same bus as they both didnt get there. This one individual ignored me and then went and found my manager and made a complaint against my "aggressive natured discussion".

My manager is a crow supporter as well and asked what I said and I told him. He laughed and said mut have been using Jack darlings transport service. We had a good laugh, you get a bit and give a bit. He said I should avoid that bloke for a while, he apparently takes football more seriously than his job.

My son goes for the crows and I'm a bit of a closet fan considering that they are South Aussie, but seeing the relentless crap on Facebook from their fans has made me wanna see them lose, so many of them would rather see Port fail than see their own team succeed, it's insane.

That little anecdote brings me one step closer to understanding why we have ground security threatening patrons with eviction for barracking against the Clowns at SANFL trial games. Precious lot, aren't they?

Not a surprise.

By the way, in response to Stan's question, I think those two players were stuck on the number 19 bus.

You've got me mistaken then, I want my club to succeed more than anything else in the football world. Miles and miles ahead of anything else.

You blokes gagging in September just makes the taste a little less bitter.

I rest my case

BTW I don't think there would be a football supporter on this planet who would rather see another team fail before their own succeed. That is just an ignorant comment from people outside the Crows v Power hatred.
