As a wee young fella on a school trip I got to feed Mr Percival by holding out a fish clamped between a couple of sticks. Got given a sticker which read "I fed Mr Percival".

"Storm Boy" was one of my best mates at Primary School ... boy did he cop it about those couple of movies he did.

Know the feeling mate. Hit that milestone yesterday myself.

I knew I was heading downhill a while back when my beard started going grey.

You remember driving through Two Wells and Virginia when travelling on Main North Road to Port Wakefield....

You remember the crawl at 80 km an hour behind a caravan from Port Wakefield back into Adelaide at the end of School holidays (no dual carraige way = no overtaking opportunity) on the same route.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

"Collecting Smurfs is Smurfy!"

The legend was that if you licked them, they were covered in lead based paint allegedly. This went around the same time as the "Eating Pop Rocks and Coke will make you explode" like some kid on TV in the States allegedly did.

When petrol stations sold Super, Standard and Diesel only, and kids like me used to buy the soccer balls there for $1.99 to kick around at school.
