In a thread a little while ago I tried to pay a very unfair Parking Ticket with Coins to a council
It was a pre meditated action
The cashier refused to accept the coins made up of 5c to $2 coins
It was pointed out to me that the council was within its rights knocking back the coin
Eventually I accepted that right and paid in notes
THIS PROB BECOZ OF SMARTANALS LIKE ME DOING THIS

However a retailer such as a petrol station should not knock back coin as legal tender
As I have said Ive been loyal to my local petrol station for a long time
I have supported them, despite the fact that often its cheaper at other outlets
I AM NOT BEING A SMARTANAL I DIDNT HAVE ANY OTHER MONEY AT THE TIME

HOWEVER
Our family has been asked this on a few occasions

Those that want a bet can **** off to the TAB so yes. A house of drinking should never have become a house of gambling in the first place. That is what has killed not only the Pub scene but the music scene as well.

When I was...um.....18.....or so.......I used to drink at the Mile End Hotel. They had this huge room adjacent to Parker Street and my Uncle's Rolling Stones cover band 'Rolled Gold' used to put on a great set to a room full of people and the good times rolled. Go down to the Mile End and check out what it has become. A TAB with a few desperados wondering where all their mates went. **** that.

left the last employer two weeks ago and have applied for probably 50+ positions in the last two weeks...

have only been called by commission only places cos they are desperate for people due to turnover and 1 genuine decent job for an interview, which will be next week.

have received a couple of knock back emails which is fine but i got knocked back for doing temp production/casual labour work...

extremely frustrating!!!
