Try leaving something laying around her place. You'll cop an earful if my experience is anything to go by.

LOL, I don't go there, she has a teenage son who never goes out, my house is empty one or two nights a week.

It's just a little uncanny that a purse, a handbag or clothes get left behind, I offer to drop them off during the day but get told not to worry about it.

Definitely a ploy, not a bad thing, she likes you [emoji6]

A common ploy in my experience - laying claim to territory - and an excuse to come back and/or slowly move in.
I always dropped the stuff off in on my way somewhere else, so I couldn't be asked to stay, and said with a smile, "You forgot these and I thought you might need them."

However, after 6 years of carefully preserved widower-hood, the latest has moved in (with my prior consent) recently...
We use her place in the inner south, near Cross Road, as a town house when we are too tired for the drive to mine.

It's becoming more evident and moving a little fast for my liking.
My daughter must be getting worried about me after finding a Luis Vuitton handbag that I thought I hid well enough, high heels and some make up, I should freak her out and start singing "I am woman"

It's a slippery slope, and before you know it you're booked in with a specialist and changing your name to Caitlyn.

We both prefer the fresh air in the hills, and she adores me.
So, if I leave the city for the hills she comes with me.

It is a good life, but it gets hectic at times.
Her sisters are coming from to Adelaide from London and Brisbane for Christmas, and her mother needs help with crewing her yacht.
Early next year we are going to spend a couple of weeks at this place as guests of the owners who are old friends of hers: http://www.chateaucelleguenand.org/

Moral of the story - be discerning before you hook up. ;)

Seriously, it was all totally unplanned - we had both been living alone for years, and being careful about risking involvements, until we were introduced by well-meaning mutual friends.

Does anyone else think it's kind of awkies that the ABC are putting sex and porn shows on the ABC Kids channel when they've got 4 other channels to choose from?

It doesn't bother me personally but any kid who decides to turn on the telly to channel 23, thinking they might catch some Peppa Pig, might get some premature sex ed instead:lol:

The other day I turned on channel 23 hoping for something a bit frisky, but I had to settle for Mister Maker...

I'm adaptable and affable and prepared to give most things a go.
I minded a friends computer shop in the city for him one afternoon a few years ago, and, in the last few weeks, I've sold programmes and done some ushering at one of Adelaide's live theatres. I also helped out at a Rotary run Barbecue outside the Seaford library last weekend, despite not being a Rotary member.

Why does the modern day "protester" feel the need to hide their face at these "rallies"?

From anti-Child Abuse to pro-immigration to Reclaim Australia they all seem to have the need to cover their faces.
