LOL, I don't go there, she has a teenage son who never goes out, my house is empty one or two nights a week.
It's just a little uncanny that a purse, a handbag or clothes get left behind, I offer to drop them off during the day but get told not to worry about it.

A common ploy in my experience - laying claim to territory - and an excuse to come back and/or slowly move in.
I always dropped the stuff off in on my way somewhere else, so I couldn't be asked to stay, and said with a smile, "You forgot these and I thought you might need them."
However, after 6 years of carefully preserved widower-hood, the latest has moved in (with my prior consent) recently...
We use her place in the inner south, near Cross Road, as a town house when we are too tired for the drive to mine.
