For months though everything has been positive and well managed - can’t blame people for thinking that way, and to call them morons now after weeks of saying it is pretty rough.

Easy to be correct in hindsight.

And a lot of the calls have been to maintain the hotel-quarantine and just open up internally.

Perhaps if SA Health were less worried about people drinking while standing, and focused their attention on the hotels, then it wouldn't have gotten out...

Bread roll, not too far from bog roll, well, alphabetically anyway.

I'm happy to let Aussies back in to a degree.
I think they should have all been home by April, but can see why we can't lock them out now.
But these reports that we are letting in non-Australian's is a bit perplexing.

On October 26th...

Yup, I don't think anyone is calling for quarantine by returned travellers to be relaxed.
With that said, I'm a firm believer that given SA has 0 active cases within the community, provided we maintain quarantine for anyone coming in, then we should be in a position that doesn't require any restrictions for the general public.

The Christmas pageant for example, not an event that overly excites me, but I don't understand why SA Health binned it.
Could it be that they don't trust the 14-day hotel-quarantine process for returned travellers?

Step daughter was at the sushi train @ Elizabeth last Sunday, got a call from SA Health to get tested immediately, the wife has been sent home from work pending the test results, I was there over the weekend, I'm now awaiting a response from my boss.

AS Booney has intimated I reckon you mob are going into a hard lockdown for at least two weeks to break this so they ease restrictions and people can enjoy Christmas.

Given lots of retail traders have been banking on this next six weeks to make up for the last nine months, I reckon their is going to be lots of pain in SA come January in the retail sector.

It a F***ed situation
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I read an interesting paper this morning that detailed the need for a 3-week lockdown following a week of uncontrolled spread to return to numbers prior to outbreak.

Game on moles!

So will they ask 25,000 to self isolate? or try and identify which bay they were sitting in and which mode of transport they used to get to and from the event?
