Angus' American grandfather buying him a knife 'to hunt with'. What does that mean?! I thought you only shot deer, not bayonetted them! And he's only five years old. To my relief, he told me emphatically that he does not want to hunt animals.
Hey Goose, ya big stud! Take me to bed or lose me for ever.

Oh it's for when Angus visits his dad in the US. (He gets one month over there each year.) I am not very happy that they want to take him hunting, particularly at such a young age! His father said 'I shot my first squirrel when I was four' and I'm like 'Yes, but you are a Cro-Magnon man.'

Bad elevator etiquette

Middle-aged lady pretty much gave me the 'don't argue' this morning.

As I was stepping out, she was charging in!

Basically, people who...

- Barge into a lift without letting people get out first
- Steamroll over others to get out
- Talk rock concert loud in a confined space
- Block the card swipe like a nightclub bouncer
- Smell
Everyone can eat s#!t! A big bag of s#!t! I'm the greatest man in the world!

My old job was on the first floor of a 10 storey building. It was alright going up in the morning, but if you finished around 5 it could take up to 20 minutes to access a lift with space in it - the building managers ended up having to give us access to the emergency exit stairs as a result!
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Ugh, there were the pushiest old ladies at the chocolate factory the other day! They were reaching over me and pushing past me, nearly knocking Luke's pram over at one point. I kept thinking, 'Surely one of these women is going to say 'Excuse me' now' but they didn't. We were in the queue to pay and when it was our turn, the two women walked right around us and went to the counter! I felt like saying 'Go and drink some more vinegar, you pair of withered haggises' (haggi?) but there were lots of children around, including my own, so I behaved myself.

Know what you mean Fisho.

A month or so back I was in the supermarket and looking in the 'reduced' section in dairy when this 'old' lady literally shoved me out the way

It seriously was a shove - she literally pushed me that hard that I would have toppled if I didn't take a step or two over.
I just looked at her waiting for an appology - but - NOTHING !!!

Can only hope I never get that grumpy when I'm older ... lol
You get what you give....

Yet, if you'd shoved her out of the way she would have been screaming blue murder and carrying on about how young people have no respect for the elderly anymore

Plagiarism.

More specifically, downloading somebody's Masters thesis and finding that an entire subsection of their work is copied-and-pasted from one of your own publications; right down to the in-place citations.

I suppose I should be flattered....

I suppose you should report it to the relevant authorities - this person can't be allowed to get away with it!

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.
