Four Wheel Drives in the city/suburbs!

When you drive behind them you can't see what's happening ahead. When they park near side roads/ driveways you can't see any traffic coming. When they park next to you in carparks you have to squeeze into your car (which is tough with my current waistline!). Basically they take up too much room!

There should be a law regarding 4WD usage/ownership. 4WD should only be owned if....

1. You live on a farm
2. You like to go camping atleast 4 times a year
3. You drag a caravan atleast twice a year
4. You own a boat
5. You are a tradie who needs the bigger vehicle ... eg hilux utes etc.
6. You have a whole tribe of kids (2 or 3 kids does not represent a 'tribe', they can fit in a sedan/stationwagon)

Furthermore, those smaller varieties of 4WDs (Rav 4's etc) should be banned completely. They serve no purpose whatsoever! They are merely hatchbacks with big wheels!!

I can see why people get angry with 4wd's
Im recently (last 7 months or so) the owner of a hilux, that if you were behind wouldnt be able to see a thing.
In respect to what you wrote about a law
how would you prove it??
eg. I go camping at often as possible with work and footy and every other thing people have to do.
Thats all I use mine for, but drive it as a daily aswell
whats to say that the mum who drives a Range rover tyo school and thats all cant lie and say she takes it 4wding and camping like me??

4wd's piss people off as much as people who block up 2 or 3 lane roads going at least 5km below the speed limit!! that infuriates me
