People underestimating the value of broccoli...

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

rubbish. Kids have been falling off monkey bars since god was a boy. it's what kids do - at least it means they're being active and not sitting inside and staring at the idiot box.

It's like the argument of "don't let your kids play in the dirt"

Pfft! that's why kids these days are hypercondriacs - eating dirt builds kids immunity, I ate dirt - I'm fine!

500 kids running around during lunch breaks with 2 teachers on yard duty, monkey bars are time bombs for injuries.

Whatever. You don't fall from 2 metres with your arms retarded playing football, generally the kids get pushed off of the monkey bars when they injure themselves.

Just the one arm but both radius and ulna (sp?) bones...

It's not so much monkey bars...its just a horizontal bar they swing on and do flips on. She has played on the same bars at school and some at home for ages...she just slipped and landed wrong. I would much rather her be active and have the odd accident than a games console addict watching TV all the time though.
