When I lived in Adelaide I was a fan of living in Kurralta Park still am. Great part of the Western suburbs and still close to the city. Knowing your way around is also handy.

I live in Happy Valley - same suburb I grew up in. It hasn't changed much, and I love it there. Lots of trees, hills, parks, creeks, all my old childhood haunts are still there. I know the place back to front because I was allowed to run around by myself as a kid, and I love showing my kids the same places I used to play (and still do - you can make great Tarzan ropes out of willow tree fronds to swing over the Fountain Valley lake! When I was 13 we moved to Millswood, closer to town, but I never thought of it as my home and wanted to get back down south as soon as I could. Mr McSpaz is a KI boy, but when he grew up he rented in Happy Valley for a while and was quite happy for us to get a place there. I'm not leaving unless we one day get enough $$ to buy a place out in the country, whereupon we will move to Lobethal and I will have an alpaca named Matthew Echunga and a screaming sheep.

Oh yeah - rent's a bit expensive in the Valley compared to surrounding suburbs - we pay $320 for our place, but you could get a lot cheaper in Morphett Vale. But house sale prices have come down a LOT and I'd say it'd be a bargain to buy one there now.
Hey Goose, ya big stud! Take me to bed or lose me for ever.
