I only find the 'Australian Football League' Boring. Nothing wrong with the Australian Rules brand except at the highest level.....

the other votes to Big Bash League - see my AFL explanation

Ice Hockey - WTF is going on

Also @ Jim05, I bet most amateur cricketers would not last 6 balls from Ellyse Perry in the nets and saying that a mens Grade side could beat the national team is like comparing apples and oranges......

you odviously havent been to any SANFL or AFL games, there are plenty that i have been to, when i use to follow the sport, that there was fights both during the game in the crowd and after. I feared for my life one night walking home for a Norwood Port friday night game when port supporters were trying to rob us and bash us because they lost. So dont say its only football (soccer) that does this

Personally not a real fan of swimming, and rugby bores me to tears. A sport where, to move it forward, you throw it backwards, does little for me.

And Rusvolkian chicks with no tits don't do it for me either.

The Darts final today was outstanding. Not only was the sport itself great, the telecast was 1st class. I'd rather watch that over several other sports.

If watching Tennis and both rugbys for me. I enjoy playing tennis but geez it's boring to watch.

Love playing golf but could also watch it all day, went to the presidents cup in melbourne recently and was one of the best sporting spectacles I've seen.

Ice Hockey would be boring if you had a poor TV or poor eye sight. Whilst not a fan I saw a tackle/bump the other day that broke the guys stick in half!
That wasnt boring!

Underwater hockey would have to be more boring than that unless you count the occasional drowning.

TENNIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How many ways are there to hit the xxxxing ball back ?
A footballer plays under the pressure of having his chest smashed through his spine ...... a tennis player plays with the risk of a drinks waiter walking up the isle at the wrong moment !!!!!!!!!!!!
The game died when they got rid of grass.

Watching mate. I reckon most sports would be reasonably entertaining if you were giving them a go. I can't watch Golf but it is sure entertaining when I play the game. It's a pretty easy game though as I get a Century everytime...and that's by the ninth hole.

Tennis. As I said to the great Mark Woodford one night after a few beers: the only reason blokes play tennis is because they are too scared of getting hit with a cricket ball.

In this order
A League
Lawn Bowls
Golf.

I would put car and bike racing in there, because I detest motorsports, but it's not because they're boring.

There are a number of sports that mightn't be too exciting as far as action goes, but still enjoy watching them to gain a sense of the strategies and jargon and mindsets involved that seem foreign to me but natural to those involved. Classic example would be marathon running and rugby league. Despite this, still don't have much time for soccer.

Don't find basketball boring action-wise, just tedious with the rules and stop-start nature when the ref blows his whistle, compared to netball, where the play generally keeps following through the advantage rules.
