Do you also have the girth of 7 Billy Brownless's? ;)

Eating all that in under 7 mins is amazing. How long did it take you to do the 500 beer challenge?

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Their snittys came out on platters (the big silver ones) and still hung over the sides. Your name used to go up in lights if you could finish one!

Was a good pub too, decked out in Rocky and Bullwinkle paraphanalia, I don't think it's open anymore though.

Before the Moosehead it was called the Hotel Canada, we discovered it in the early 90's, and yes they are the biggest snittys ive seen, those trays were pizza trays! ive got a photo of one somewhere.

The best part of that pub was $2 crownies, we had a round of 9 going and couldnt believe we got change from $20! 8)

Adelaide Casino is again laying down the gauntlet to South Australia’s ‘schnitty’ lovers with the return of its monster 18-inch Schnitzel Challenge.

The same length as 1.5 standard rulers, the monster schnitzel has made a comeback due to popular demand and is renowned as one of the biggest and best schnitzels in town.

As of next Wednesday (1 September), it will be available at Café Junction on Monday to Thursday nights for $12.50, which includes the 500 gram beef offering along with a serve of chips and a pint of Carlton Draught.

The first 1000 successful participants will receive an Adelaide Casino Schnitzel Challenge t-shirt to commemorate their feat and a second pint of Carlton Draught for free.

The enormous offer is for a limited time only (finishes 30 September 2010), so be quick!

I had one at the Tanunda Clubhouse on the Sunday night of the Barossa Gourmet weekend recently. Porterhouse schnitzel it was, and one of the tenderest offerings I've ever put in my mouth! It was just sensational, not overly big, but the quality was of the highest order. Meat was about 1cm thick, which made for a pleasant change from my local, where it would be closer to 1mm! The seasoned crumbing was excellent also. Now I may have been biased as I probably would have eaten anything after all the red wine, but still. And then the garlic prawns topping as well! Was well under $20 if memory serves too. :-bd
