The zoo is open all weekend, so we went there this morning.

Thing that gives me the sh1ts #1: $74 entry for a family of 4

Thing that gives me the sh1ts #2: Pandas. Pandas here, pandas there, pandas everywhere. Souvenir shops full of bl00dy pandas. Statues of pandas distributed through the zoo grounds. Little kids wandering around with faces painted as pandas. Panda, pandas, pandas.

Thing that gives me the sh1ts #3: The line to actually see the bl00dy pandas snaking around half the zoo. FFS, they're just pandas, not half-nekkid supermodels... So we gave the actual pandas a miss.

Thing that gives me the sh1ts #4: The zoo shop. Made the mistake of entering for a look. Pseudomite #1 promptly attached herself to a book and insisted on taking it home. Pseudomite #2 attached himself to a toy and would not relinquish it. Another $30 later we finally left.

And now, after 3 hours traipsing through the zoo, all I want to do is go to the pub

ya can gamble - singapore races are on, NRL games are on, even muck about playing poker
