Yeah thanks
He'd obviously overlooked the fact of modern policing that revenue raising rates over common sense, and the triviality of the offence, and has been pulled into line...
I still think 150 is a more reasonable limit in those situations.

You know the rules FC, just don't break them and it won't happen again.

The crap thing is, is that I wasn't deliberately speeding because I know that stretch of road between the two towns is notoriously patrolled 24 hours a day, either by camera or car.

I unknowingly crept and paid the price - and I wasn't showing cleavage

Swap you some of that...all the snow that had started to melt yesterday has frozen solid...currently -6 and trying to walk anywhere is not fun when you live part way up a hill.

Dick Smith Electronics.

A particular item is advertised in their current catalogue.

The 3 outlets within cooee of my place didn't have it. Marion outlet said they'd be getting some in by yesterday. I called up to see if they had, and no, weren't expecting any until next week now. The guy checked his computer and said the only place in SA which had any was Elizabeth!

Found myself in Adelaide so popped in to the outlet in the basement of Myers. The guy behind the counter here reckoned he had some delivered and he nipped out the back to check. Sure enough they were delivered but they were still packed and he didn't want to unpack them. I left town shortly after, and promptly got a phone call asking me what colour I wanted.

FFS - if there aren't any in the state (bar Elizabeth), why advertise it in the catalogue?

Everyone buying the same kids' toy for Christmas as me. Took two hours to finally track one down all the way in Victor Harbor... still, I was prepared to go to Port Pirie if necessary, so I guess I got lucky in a way.

I sorted that problem out by bypassing DSE.
I was going to the CBD anyway and rang Myers, checked they had the item I wanted in stock, and asked them if they'd match the DSE price if I brought the advertisement in.
I did the same, later, with my Panasonic plasma TV by taking in the JB's advertisement.
No problem either time...
