I also rate the Lamb Shanks that I purchased and cooked up over the weekend from The Meat Works on south rd at edwardstown

What did you think of the place MT?....went there once late on a Saturday and I was a little disappointed

i actually didnt mind it

compared to the gawler river butchers i actually didnt mind it

thought they may have had more of a range though

have driven past there a few times on my travels to and from destinations, if im ever around that neck of the woods i will give it a go since it comes highly recommended

Some other decent butchers are the butcher in Ingle Farm Shopping Centre as well and the meat department in the Fairview Park Foodland (I'd say Frewville and Pasadena would be the same).
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10
