I rate the book - A Day in the Life of Australia.

Do any of you (probably older members) own/remember this?

I have a copy and every now and again get it out and look at it.

What a great concept - I wish they would do it again.

On 6th March 1981 they sent over 100 photographers all over Australia,
Far and wide - to take as many pictures as they could,
In the 24 hours that was the 6th of March.
They also gave out 'instant' cameras to school kids to take photos,
(Some of which are also published)
They then picked out the best ones from both sources and put them into a book,
Just with the location name - and the time of the photo.
And some times persons name who is in the photo.

I love it.

Watching my boys when the 'Bird Bath Boogie' on Giggle and Hoot* comes on TV. Little Luke loves that song, he sits there and headbangs in time with it, and Angus sits next to him and hugs him. They've got a lovely relationship and it makes me smile all the time to see how well they get along.


*Giggle and Hoot sh1t me no end but I put up with it because the kids love it.
