NEW PAYOUT STRUCTURE!!!!

From this Friday nights games there is a new payout structure in the tournaments thanks to an update from Pokerstars.

Friday Night Play Money Tournament, 8pm start (can register until 8.10)
500 + 30
10 minute blind levels, with breaks every hour.
2000 starting chips

if there are 2-5 entries the winner will take all the prizepool
6-15 entries will see 3 players make the money

1st will get 50% of the prize pool
2nd 30%
3rd 20%

EXAMPLE: if there are 12 players the total prize pool will be 6000 (500 x 12)

1st will get 3000 (50%)
2nd 1800 (30%)
3rd 1200 (20%)

Im not too sure when season 1 ends.. it is called winter 2011 on the site, so im assuming tonight is the end of season 1..

Points are awarded on amount of runners and the buy in, im not sure of the exact formula they use..

Ill be looking at adding more tournaments in for the next season with a few bigger buy in events to get the prize money up higher

try a couple of the 1 table SnG on stars.. they either pay top 3 out of 10, or the top 5, depending on the sort u choose.

Its a great way to practice accumulating chips
