Next step is for them to complete the rail upgrades of the gawler line, and for me to get NBN, but im not sure those will happen any time soon

Well in fairness 145 car parks would be fairly annoying, that amount of parks will have an impact.

Probably another case of the Adelaide residents against everything, but in saying that its a pretty ugly design, I mean it doesn't fit well with that end of the city, I'm not sure what would to be honest but I think a design re-think its needed. Maybe even to simplify it rather than having an out there type building next to a heritage listed hotel.

Still good to see that development is continuing and the construction industry is being fed.

theres no way it could be, the land isn't anywhere near big enough, even If they did buy the buildings next door where Cheap as Chips is now.

I wish it was just an administration mezzanine...

Actually deceptive in size when it goes all the way back to Freebairn St

Yeah, I only drove past down the side street on Sunday and didn't realise that the indoor cricket arena was gone too.

Did I also see that a home hardware store opened up across the road as well?

giant LED screen to go above hotel on britannia roundabout is to be rejected by the local council. Council saying the roundabout is too confusing and a giant billboard that changes every 10 seconds with ads will only confuse drivers more so

Presumably the billboard would be OK if the message didn't change as often? I'm not sure it's that much of an issue, it's not like it's continually flashing or changing. Brightness would have to be an issue as well, some of the mobile variable message signs you see on the side of the road are as bright as the sun.

Being on top of the building means it's more of a visual issue for drivers at a distance approaching the roundabout. I doubt you'd be distracted once you were actually on the roundabout.

Good to see that going ahead. Private investment is very much needed at the moment.
