Fisho got beeped at by an angry old woman this morning while idling in the driveway. Because obviously I was waiting for her to drive past so I could reverse out at her at 80 kph and give her a heart attack.
Hey Goose, ya big stud! Take me to bed or lose me for ever.

Well..
I logged onto the airlines today and the dates we need/cheaper flights had sold out on one airline, so I hit the panic button !!

Virgin would have been $1500 return for 4
Jetstar would have been $1200 return for 4

I was put off of Tiger because of all the horror stories,
So I did some research around family and friends who travel a lot and found that as long as you get to the check in well before time that none of them had ever had any problems.

So went to the Tiger website ended up with - 4 x return fairs plus excess baggage for $982-00 :-bd

Very happy - but will still be praying that all goes well - not being a travelling guru and all 8-[

IMO Tiger is great if you don't have deadlines.

e.g. me and Mrs NG and her grandma are going to the states for Christmas. we go ADL-SYD-LAX-PHX and back.

on the way to Sydney i decided Virgin but on the way home i'm comin Tiger as that way i can't miss a connection and i don't care if they are late on my way home. saves us just under $200 total which is better in my pocket than the airlines...
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Fisho is freaked out - the light fitting in the hall just crashed to the ground and exploded. Thought someone had fired a gun through one of the windows!

very good work, you should be well pleased with yourself there.

The only issue with Tiger is the check-in time, jetstar on the other hand, are a complete mess, especially if on a flight late arvo into the last flight

Yes scary when it happens, especially if it takes your circuit breakers with it.
I've heard of it happening to people before and am very careful to make sure I discuss with the electrician positioning it where there is something other than Gyprock to put a screw into, or putting some timber above the Gyprock for that purpose.. You would thing it would be done automatically, but no it often isn't... :(

Yep been the most interesting I can remember.

I'm deep in the middle of SNP (nothing like those BNP ****'s) territory and although they'd probably be my second choice anyway I always vote with my conscience and never tactically so it's Nick Clegg's mob for me.
