Facebook down 50%+ in the past 6 months and 45% this year

I would be/am very apprehensive about their shares given the disdain for many things Chinese at the moment but the continual rise of Tiktok which is privately owned (well thats what they call it) given they are a competitor.

Also fined $25 million in the US for failing to keep records on political advertising.

This year is still Ok - next year not so good
Household savings dropping rapidly
Household construction in trouble - supply / labour problems
But unemployment will still be low

The big problem is health. Staff quitting big time due to stress and crap governments. Not enough newbies coming through to replace those leaving
Malinauskas and Picton doing a Rann and announcing 6 new mental health nurses as if its a major new investment - they are just replacing those who have left or are leaving

Just to show how trustworthy the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation are campaigning for Labor in the last state election
Labor actually cut the no of FTE nurses in SA from 12,820 in 2013 to 12,680 in 2017
The Liberal Govt reversed that trend and immediately increased the number when elected in 2018 to a high of 14,473 in June 2021

The Feds cutting $2.4 billion from the health budget has now surfaced yet they can afford to give $2.1Bn to Andrews to pi$$ against the wall

Nearly two thirds wiped off. Savage. Outlook from business analysts varies widely but most expect it to recover this year. Not for me.

I am sole director of a company which runs my self-managed superannuation fund. So the only costs are for the accountancy work. I got lucky when the Howard government introduced catch up provisions for superannuation just when I had inherited money from a family investment in a real estate enterprise - one that created the Parafield Gardens and Para Hills developments.

I was pleased as a 12 or 13 year old to have some streets named after me, but I've never actually been in one of those streets. I keep thinking I should have a look one day.
