Love a good tradition.

Planning for the Boon family Falcon to be there in 2018.

Easter? That'd be brilliant.

Yeah mate, long way off but that's the plan.

I passed up an offer with extreme pain $150 for a bus to Oakbank and back on Saturday, dropped off at my house, free piss and food for the day too.

You better have something else on to pass up on that mate.
We used to do Oakbank but have been going to Clare the last 4 years.
Not as crowded but just as much fun!
Plus we can do the wineries and pubs as well.

We're hosting Easter on Sunday, thought we'd need Saturday to get everything and be organised, we're usually pretty hopeless at being organised but we're on top of everything already for a change................and it's too late to jump in now.

I love Clare, awesome place

7am tee off at The Vines followed by Weber lunch of lamb, pork & snapper at a mate's place with plenty of hydrating.
Home by 4 to watch the Kangas win (will be too wobbly to go and watch the Bays)
Then off to Normanville Saturday with the family for a couple of nights and at least one more round of golf.

Might chuck the barbie on for lunch and a bit of social lubrication before heading to the Bay for Glenelg's first game of the new season.

Naw, Imperials are the team! Used to do the stats for them when Seamus Maloney was coach.

Re Good Friday, I am probably one of the very few with religious activities that day - Stations of the Cross at 10:00am and then the Passion at 3:00pm.
Bit peeved that Central are playing at 1:10pm - all I would want is for no football to be played between 3:00pm and 4:00pm (the sacred hour for us left-footers *grins*).
After the Church services, will be packing for my early morning flight to the Philippines Saturday morning - will be a huge Easter Sunday over there, plus some great day at Boracay.

Cheers

What's that league like?

Contemplating a move to Mildura, gotta make sure the cricket and football is popular for the kids sake.

Sunraysia league (Footy) is big. it's one of the Div 1 VCFL leagues along with O&M and Ballarat.

cricket is popular too.

I know of people from the Wimmera (Nhill) migrating there for work an opportunities
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I've checked out the ovals there, it's usually some sort of indication of the strength of a competition IMO.

I did check out the Sunraysia Football League website to see who's in it etc.

I used to be pretty good mates with Danny Hughes who finished up in that league and then coached out there and he rated the comp back then.
