This thread is terrific. =))

I think Mr Potato Head is my favourite. The comment about Rex's small arms has for ever changed the way I view him, as THIS is what I keep thinking about now: (see below)

Psyber, can you ask them whether they like Woody or Buzz, please.
The couple I asked had no idea who they were either.

Apparently they are much more interested in a rock group called "The Giants" and insisted I join them at the Old Mill last night for dinner and the show.
I tried to pay for my ticket twice but they wouldn't let me.
One of them also insisted on introducing me to his recently widowed cousin, who is a pleasant lady who owns an Adelaide pub.

I've known the group since the early 1980s, and they've always said, "You're a mate of ours. So, if anyone gives you hassles just call!"
So, watch how cheeky you get! ;)

The Giants! Lucky you. I'd have gone to see them, except that dinner at the Old Mill probably costs more than what Centrelink pays me in a week.

Perhaps if you'd been there they wouldn't have let you pay either. ;)
PS: It was a $45.00 buffet and buy your own drinks. The food was good - cooked well - and Cascade $4.50 a schooner.

I think it's great that Psyb may have been able to bypass the 'does your dad own a brewery' question.

The Wood and Buzzy debate has been heated among the four and two year olds in our house.
We decided to find out who preferred who in the Toy Story series with a yoghurt poll.

One six pack of yoghurt was procured for the debate. The two year old traced her finger along the packs, 'Rex!', 'Pig!', 'Woody', 'Buzzzzz!!!!'

She snapped up the Buzz yoghurt, while the four year old snatched the Woody yoghurt.

And there the debate was decided.

By the way, the two year old received a Jesse doll for her birthday today.
