Marty Smith? You need to find something to do during the day, mal. ;)

I haven't read a Marty Smith comment for years. About as interesting as Peter Goers and Amber Petty "editorials"...

Peter Goers makes me feel crook just thinking about him and his nasal laugh :vom:

I no longer get the Craptiser, but confess that the only reason that I did towards the end was simply to read the daily Calvin and Hobbes comic! 8)

They use his name and photo, but apparently Marty Smith hasn't worked at the Advertiser for years. I guess he became a reputable columnist and they wanted to hang onto that to add credibility to the column.

Well the M-F, Saturday and Sunday papers have all lost another reader, I've just cancelled my seven day subscription.

I was paying $2 a week ($56 for 6 months worth over the past 12 months) and the cheeky buggers wanted to jack it up to $3 a week.

No dice.

Im not making this up:
Horses make US actor director Clint Eastwood sneeze

Remember When
Actor and former coffin polisher Sean Connery was once stopped for speeding by a police officer named James Bond

Remember When
2004
Traffic in Victoria Square was disrupted when a 38 year old man sang, played guitar and used a vacuum hose as a didgeridoo on the roof of a bus
