Hopefully it doesn't raise considerably next year as I'm thinking of having laser eye surgery (costs over $5k) next May/June.

I did both Mrs Jase and my tax last night after finally receiving my payment summary from work...

Submitted the Mrs Jase's tax return and realised that my Payment Summary didn't have it's usual entry for Reportable Fringe Benefits Tax included. Thought it was strange, but maybe there had been changes to what needed to be reported. Didn't send mine in just in case and sent an email to Payroll this morning...

Low and behold, they have made a screw up and not included the RFBT on any of the Payment Summaries so will be reprinting them and re-sending...

I now have to complete a Tax Return Ammendment and post it into the ATO...

Thank goodness I am only working here for another 1.5 weeks and can be rid of the useless b@st@rds in payroll... Though know douby they will make a right c0ck up of my final pay...

Has anyone had a (Bum) crack* at etax 2011 yet? The Medicare Levy isnt autopopulating and it isnt pulling* the interest earned from your bank accounts this year...

Nothing, mate.

If you get a refund, they will deduct what's owing.

The payment of tax is totally separate from the collection of tax.
